Keep valuable items out of sight, remove temptation

IT security - Protect against virus, data loss and fraud

  • Ensure you use a firewall
  • Have up-to-date anti-virus protection for IT software
  • Make regular back ups of your data, preferably off site

Staff Security

  • Ensure adequate lone working and outworking arrangements
  • Ensure appropriate alarm response arrangements are in place

Share local intelligence with your neighbours

  • Communicate with your neighbours

  • Keep up to date with local activity and what's happening in your area

  • Remember for a theft to occur the thief must have the temptation and the opportunity
