Business Security Innovation & Technology Day - 22nd September 2010

Business Security Innovation & Technology Day

22nd September 2010

Commerce Centre, Canal Wharf, Chesterfield S41 7NA

Recent figures show that the average business loses £5,000 a year to crime, with criminal activities ranging from simple theft or vandalism right up to complicated fraud. It has been estimated that crime costs British businesses a staggering £12.6 billion a year, equating to £442 million just in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire alone.  By not taking simple precautions against crime, businesses could face a bill running into hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds.

The aim of BusinessWatch is to help firms boost their security and prevent crime by working with them to identify potential risks and problems and provide viable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions. The BusinessWatch team have responded to more than 180 calls for assistance since January this year and helped to improve security for more than 2,500 companies since it's launch in 1995.

To show how the scheme can work for you and what products are available come along and visit our Business Security Innovation & Technology Open Day on the 22nd September in Chesterfield.  It's an open invitation which means you can spend as much or as little time with us as you wish and visit the exhibition stands, equipment demonstrations or any of the seminars available on the day.
