Pubs and clubs have been linked up to a new radio system in an effort to cut crime in a Derbyshire village.
The project in Cresswell has been funded by the Bolsover Community Safety Partnership.
Ten radios have been supplied to pubs, social clubs and off-licences. The county council has provided a radio for the library.
Those involved in the scheme can share information on anti-social behaviour and alcohol-related crime.
One radio has been given to the local policing team to alert businesses about incidents in the village.
The Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce has installed the radio base station in Creswell.
Members of the project will have to pay a £6-a-week subscription to the Chamber after the first four months.
