Chamber provides Business Watch services to BMRA

Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the British Metals Recycling Association to provide security services under its BusinessWatch initiative to local firms.

The scheme includes criminal intelligence updates supplied by the police and BusinessWatch members. It can also offer rapid deployment wireless intruder detection and vehicle trailer tracking systems that can be applied to containers and skips.

The Chamber operates BusinessWatch, in partnership with Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Police, providing the opportunity for all businesses to participate in the development, implementation and ongoing delivery of community business crime reduction initiative schemes.

By working with together with local companies, BusinessWatch can minimise the cost of security equipment and measures  to individual businesses, identify cost effective solutions and provide help to secure funding.
