New Town Centre CCTV System for Killamarsh

The existing CCTV camera system at Killamarsh is set to be supplemented by the installation of three new cameras. Projected managed by the Business Security team at the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and funded through the NEDDC Community Safety Team, the Killamarsh Parish Council and the Chamber the cameras will be linked to a Central CCTV control room operated by Advance Monitoring Services which will enable monitoring in conjunction with the existing radio system and local requirements to be provided.

Shops and Businesses in the area will be offered the usual BusinessWatch benefits with the objective of integrating the existing facilities, the radio system and the new cameras.

BusinessWatch members are also provided with ‘lost and found' keyrings which give a 24 hour security contact number. This number can be used to report or request virtually anything to do with security issues - from reporting suspicious behaviour to requesting the presence of the Security Guard. (Note it is not intended to replace contact with the emergency services).
