Police authorities in the East Midlands are joining forces to try to find out how businesses are affected by crime.
The Police Authorities, including those in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are sending out surveys to businesses and encouraging them to take a few minutes to submit their views on topics including the types of crime which concern them the most and the availability of Crime Prevention advice available to businesses.
The findings of this survey will be used as a guide to the region's Police Authorities when formulating their Business Crime Policies. It is, therefore, vital that as many businesses take part in this survey
Steff Webber of Nottinghamshire Police Authority commented: "This survey is just one way we hope to increase confidence among our business community, ensuring that businesses understand that their views are important and are being heard."
