Perimeter Protection

The security at the perimeter of a building can make the difference between an effective deterrent and a burglary.

Clearly defined boundaries that accentuate private from public space, the use of external lighting, access control gates and barriers can have a considerable effect on deterring the opportunist thief from their crime.

Natural surveillance, windows overlooking car parks, giving views to office staff of visitors and customers, can make an intruder feel exposed.

Restricting vehicular access to the site after hours can also be an excellent deterrent. Using bollards, raised flower beds, ponds and ditches as well as other access control measures can make an aesthetically pleasing appearance to your building and make it secure. It can also discourage ram raid style attacks.
